Parking for Old Trafford

Decided I'm probably gonna drive to Man Utd away next weekend.
Furnish me with suggestions for parking please.
Preferably close to both the ground and motorways and secure enough so as I don't return to a car on bricks and/or on fire.

The Trafford is free........or it was in the Summer when the Wife and I went to Manchester.

Lowry centre about a 10 minute walk from the ground.

Yeah Eccles works too but it's a little rough round the edges.
Trafford Centre metro extension only opened during lockdown and not everyone is onto it yet.
Massive free car park at the T.C. too.

Tell a lie it was Eccles rather than Macclesfield… but same thing… plenty of parking and only a few stops…

There is now a direct tram from the Trafford Centre to Old Trafford.
So for me, I'd bung the car in the Trafford Centre car park and catch the tram. There is a Spoons and several other bars in the Trafford Centre.

Similar to Soldo, we use to use Altrincham and get the metro in. There is a huge Car Park not far from the ground in Salford which isn't to bad if you want to get closer

We always used to park up at Macclesfield and get the Metro in… piece of piss… well part from when your missus rings up after the game … at the time I had Bubbles as a ringtone… mistake number 1
